Q: Why did I not receive an email to confirm my registration?

A: It may have gone to your spam folder or there may be a slight delay in delivery time.

Q: When I try to invite Friends I am only able to invite 100 people fifty at a time from some of my social networks.

A: Some limits are set to stop spammers either by us or by the social network you are inviting friends from. Why is this?

Q: I already have an account but when I selected Connect with Facebook it created a whole new account for me how do I delete one of my accounts.

A: Send us an email to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it and let us know what profile you want to keep. We suggest deleting the newest account if you do not have any pictures or friends added yet. After we delete it you can log in with your other account and go to the members section and mouse over Profile and select “Edit Details” from the drop down menu. You will see the editor open up with Associate your facebook login at the top. There you can associate our facebook account with your Expat Water Cooler account.

Q: When I click on someone’s avatar I get a Restricted Access error. Why does this happen?

A: You will need to be friends with that person before you can view there profile. The default setting on Expat Water Cooler for profile views is Friends. This means only friends can view your profile. You can go to the Profile tab on your members menu and select privacy from the drop down list to modify your security settings.
